The American Women's Association of Indonesia is an organization established and maintained especially for our members. Membership is open to all nationalities (although Indonesian members must be married to an American). Find your friends at AWA!
As a new member you are eligible for a free copy of one of the following AWA publications: Introducing Indonesia: A Guide to Expatriate Living, It's A Small World (cookbook) or the Jakarta Shopper's Guide. You will need to pick up your free publication at the AWA Center.

The AWA Membership Year is June 1 through May 31 and all memberships must be renewed annually.
Payment of Membership Fees:
Payment of membership fees cannot be made through our website. If you apply online, you may see a "VIEW/PAY INVOICE" button after confirming your application, however, this option is not functional. Membership payments must be made in cash (Rupiah) at the AWA Center or through a bank transfer. For bank transfer information, see below.

New members may download the membership application file, print it and fill it in by hand, or download the file, open it with a .pdf reader, complete it on your computer and then print the filled-in form. You need to sign the form and then either bring the signed form with you to the AWA Center or submit a photograph of both sides or scan both sides of your form and email your form to membership @awajakarta.org .

New members may also join in person by visiting the AWA Center during open office hours.

Note: Even if you include, ex."membership," and your name as notes in the transfer, we have found that the bank often does not include the information in our statements. This is why we ask for a copy of your bank or ATM receipt for the transfer. We want to get your transfer confirmed as quickly as possible for you. Thank you.
