Selamat datang di Indonesia!
AWA is an organization established and maintained especially for our members. The AWA has been in existence in Indonesia for over fifty years. First established in the mid-1950s, membership remains strong in number.
Since its inception, the American Women’s Association of Indonesia has grown into a vibrant organization that connects more than 200 women with a supportive network of fellow expatriates, cultural integration, charitable works and plenty of fun activities! AWA is proud to serve the expatriate community and welcomes newcomers of every nationality.

You don’t want to miss our monthly program!!
Typically, AWA hosts a “Monthly Social and Shopping” event on the second Tuesday of the month. All AWA members and their guests (50,000 Rp) are invited to this monthly meeting, and, as always, there is time for shopping with a diverse and ever-changing selection of local vendors, not mention the chance to win some fabulous door prizes!
Each month, we invite a different speaker to provide our members with interesting topics ranging from
Travel Opportunities within Indonesia to Women’s Health!
We hear from our President about important monthly happenings.
Immediately following the MSS, everyone is invited to join a group of 20 of your new AWA foodie friends for lunch at a local restaurant.
Because of the size of most local lunch spots, Lunch Bunch is limited to 20 ladies. We’d love for you to join us!
Occasionally, in lieu of a general meeting, AWA will host special programs, such as our Angel Tree Luncheon that raises money for our charities, a Christmas event such as our 2012 Parade of Homes, or our 2013 Valentine's Tea.
Please check your electronic newsletter BeAWAre for details, OR if you are not an AWA member and want more information please call the center at 718-1877.
